Private Exchange platform, leading brokers adopting online video solutions ahead of fall open enrollment

SCARBOROUGH, ME – July 29, 2013 – Today Video Benefits Guy, LLC, announced exciting growth and adoption of its employee benefits video solutions by industry leading firms.

“Three new clients during the last three months are among the Business Insurance Top 100 including one in the top 5,” stated David Cleary, Video Benefits Guy founder.

The newest client licensed Video Benefits Guy’s library of on-demand video content (Video Benefits Library) to deliver benefits communication and education videos to users of its online benefits administration system.

Another client has begun enhancing its private exchange platform to serve up video as a seamless part of the enrollment transaction experience.

“As employees and family members are being required more and more to make informed decisions about benefits, providing effective educational tools becomes even more important. Video helps fill a need by providing clear, consistent explanations of a wide variety of topics,” Cleary continues.

Content from the Video Benefits Library can be delivered though Video Benefits Guy’s communication portal (Video Benefits Meeting) or videos can be directly “embedded” inside pages of other applications and mobile platforms via a simple piece of software code. All videos support playback on desktop browsers and mobile devices.

Cleary continues, “Video production is a time consuming and expensive process even for large organizations that might have internal marketing and communication teams. With our solutions, clients have immediate access to an extensive collection of video content that’s cost-effective and easy to roll out.”

Cleary concludes, “The disruptions of health care reform and the acceleration of trends such as defined contribution and private exchanges have created challenges and opportunities in our industry. We’re thrilled to part of the solution to help our clients succeed.”

Created in 2008 by former OnlineBenefits VP David Cleary, Video Benefits Guy capitalizes on the use of online and mobile platforms with videos that make benefits education more cost-effectively consistent, efficient and engaging. Video Benefits Guy offers two products for employers, benefits brokers, and benefits administration software companies.

Video Benefits Meeting is a benefits communication solution for open enrollment and new-hire onboarding that enables customers to build their own portal of videos and customize it with information including plan details, documents, forms, links and contacts. Customers can also license Video Benefits Library to embed any of the 170+ video titles and versions it contains into their own web platforms, such as private exchanges, portals, intranets, and online enrollment systems.
